Fees

         As an atto
rney with more than twenty-five years of family law practice in Anchorage, Drew H. Peterson is not inexpensive.  His hourly fees are on a par with other attorneys in Anchorage with similar experience and expertise, around $250.00 per hour.  Because of his lengthy experience, however Mr. Peterson has good instincts about how to keeps fees to a minimum, to be sure that no time is wasted on unnecessary posturing in a case.  He takes pride in keeping his fees reasonable and in maintaining open and frequent discussion about fees with his clients at all times.  As much as possible for those tasks that are predictable, we attempt to establish flat fees, so there will be no surprises about fees later in the case.  We encourage open and frank discussion of fees at all stages, and can even arrange for a sliding fee scale on occasion when fees are a hardship.  Such agreements should be discussed in advanced and confirmed in writing.  For further information about fees, please contact us for a frank telephone consultation.
